Why?
Because the Papuwa anime series is incredibly weird and funny. It was released by Nippon Animation in 1992. Info here.

What?
It's a pretty standard SNES side-scroller with jumping, punching and kicking. It's not bad in that department but it's not spectacular.

The catch is that it is set in the crazy universe of the Papuwa anime. You control Shintaro, who is also one of the main characters of the anime.
